About EETIC

EETIC (Energy and Environmental Technology Information Centres) was the collective name for a network of information gathering, analysis and dissemination operated under the banner of the International Energy Agency. The two EETIC Information Centres (CADDET and GREENTIE) played a significant role in both helping participating countries to meet their Kyoto Protocol targets and providing a shop window for their technologies and industries.

The 2000-2005 phase of the EETIC Implementing Agreement came to an end in March 2005. Future activities are still under discussion. It is planned that the web sites of the two EETIC programmes, CADDET and GREENTIE, should remain available as a repository of the valuable information collected during the operation of the two programmes.
